In August 2011 Home Safe Homes installed a chair lift in our home. Because the washer, dryer, pantry, freezer, the cats food, water, and litter box are all downstairs, on any given day numerous trips to the basement can be made. My wife has fibromyalgia and the steps can be quite painful at times. With the new chair lift these trips downstairs have become more tolerable. The installation was done in a timely fashion and everyone involved was very professional in their manners and work. We are very happy and satisfied with our chair lift.

We have had clients lately that really are enjoying the stylish barrier free showers we have installed for them. Seniors and those that have special needs all across the country want to remain in their homes and age-in-place safely without sacrificing the style. We are finding that so true right here in the Indianapolis market too. I actually had to do a very similar modification for my father who suffered a stroke last year…I will save that though for another upcoming blog post!

Bathrooms are top priority when it comes to safety in the home. We are always addressing the needs of our clients and how we can make their bathroom safer for them. The barrier free showers we have installed lately have been really well received and we are excited to help others that want to age-in-place and maintain their independence.
